Resurrection Day
The following are special dates dedicated to the teachings of the Passover of our Lord.
The first is Palm Sunday, the day of Chris’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem. It is mentioned by king David in Ps 118:24, “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
The next special date will be on Thursday evening, April 17. The topic of which is the Passover of our Lord, prophesied in the Old Testament (Ex. 12:27), fulfilled in the N.T. by Jesus Christ, the true Passover Lamb.
Then follows April 20 with the emphasis on Christ’s resurrection from the dead. “For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!(1 Cor 15:16-17). But “He is not here, He has risen”(Matt 28:6).
Following are the dates and times of our service:
April 13, 2025, 10am – Palm Sunday
April 17, 2025, 6:30pm – The Passover
April 20, 2025, 10am – He is risen
